Mother’s Day – Kirstenbosch and Intaka

For those of you that cannot believe that I spent Mother’s Day out in the field with no regard to my wife’s needs please let the record reflect that Jeanie is only back from Canada tomorrow morning and she will receive all the necessary attention tomorrow.

A bout of insomnia has had me questioning the brain-active time I spend on my blogs just before bedtime so I’m afraid that for those of you that have come here just to read some more about the exploits of the Buckham Birding family there is great disappointment.  Tonight is dedicated just to pictures and not to words.

I spent some time with Tommy and Adam at Kirstenbosch this morning and then my father joined us for a late afternoon stroll around Intaka.  Unfortunately nothing particularly significant but here are a few pics.
